The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Education Advisory Board has called on public relations professionals across Nigeria to participate in the Global Survey on AI in PR and Communication, organised by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management in partnership with the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE) and Reputation Lighthouse.
In a statement issued by its Chairman, Professor Emmanuel S. Dandaura, who is also the Vice President and Vice Chairman of the NIPR Council, the board emphasised the importance of the survey in shaping the future of Responsible AI in the public relations profession.
“This global survey presents a unique opportunity for public relations practitioners to contribute to the evolving conversation on AI and its impact on our profession, particularly in the areas of ethics, responsibility, and professional influence. We strongly encourage our members to participate and share their perspectives,” Professor Dandaura stated.
The insights gathered from this survey will inform discussions at the Global Alliance AI Symposium in May, as well as the Annual Meeting and European Regional Council Meeting in Venice, Italy. The findings will also help update the Global Alliance’s Guiding Principles for Ethical and Responsible AI, reinforcing the Responsible Communication Movement worldwide.
The NIPR Education Advisory Board urges all members to complete the survey and circulate it widely within their networks to ensure a strong representation of Nigerian voices in this global initiative.
