The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations has implored practising members to take advantage of the upcoming Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD)programme of the Institute to develop their capacity as an outstanding public relations practitioner.
Professionalism requires acquisition of new knowledge, peer review and exchange programmes and understanding of new skills and trends in public relations practice.
In another vein, the Institute is also informing friends and loved ones of the upcoming executive masterclass and induction coming up this month between March17-21, 2025. Deadline for registration is March 12, 2025.
According to the release, this is a sure way of empowering and giving necessary certification to those who are yet to be recognised by the Institute.
It is a breach of the 1990 ACT establishing the NIPR to practice PR without the endorsement and certification of the public relations body.
