Since marriage is a journey embarked upon by two people, it has become imperative for couples to maintain cohesiveness for their union to stand the test of time.
The President of International Impact Communion(ICIC), Bishop Abraham Chigbundu made this known at the Igbankwu traditional wedding between Pastor David Achudume and Precious Chukwu.
According to him, couples need to always see themselves as one and inseparable and as such must weather all storms and the odds that may arise in order to have a blissful marital life.
The ICIC President noted that when couples see themselves as one, the urge will always be there to keep the marriage going.
"Marriage is a beautiful journey, but it requires effort and understanding from both partners".
"Men and women are designed to complement each other, not compete for the Bible teaches us that husbands are to provide for and protect their Wives while wives are to nurture and support their husbands".
The Man-Of-God added that when couples understand and respect these roles, they can build a strong foundation for their marriage.
The Father of the Groom, the Lead Pastor of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume who was visibly overjoyed congratulated the couple, saying that it is the joy of every parent to see their children get married and excel in life.
While wishing his son and his better-half all the best in their union, he urged them to make Christ the pillar of their new home.
The event was attended by reputed Men-Of-God from various denominations especially the Pentecostal Fellowship Of Nigeria(PFN)
